Training will commence on Sunday 10th August, 10am-12pm at Walker Street Nets Clifton Hill, and will be held there the following two Sundays at the same time.&lt;/P&gt;  &lt;P&gt;Despite the committee’s efforts, we will not have a coach for the upcoming year. We believe this is not a negative, as there are enough senior players to fill the role more than adequately. The committee is in the process of forming a leadership group that will conduct training and be responsible for selection.&lt;/P&gt;  &lt;P&gt;This year the club will conduct a Senior Registration Day.&amp;nbsp; This day will be held on Sunday the 24th August after training at Paul Connors’ place; 36 Yambla St, Clifton Hill.&amp;nbsp; There are a number of reasons to conduct this meeting&lt;BR&gt;•&amp;nbsp;The club requests for players to pay their fees on this day&lt;BR&gt;•&amp;nbsp;Explain to players how pre –season and regular season training will be conducted&lt;BR&gt;•&amp;nbsp;Explain the process for the selection of sides&lt;BR&gt;•&amp;nbsp;Update on the new pavilion&lt;BR&gt;•&amp;nbsp;It is imperative every senior member tries to attend this training session and meeting.&amp;nbsp; A BBQ and drinks will be provided.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/P&gt;  &lt;P&gt;The club is excited to announce that Jellis Craig real estate agents will again be the major sponsor for 2008-09. Jellis Craig is located at 324 Queens Parade, Clifton Hill. They have requested that we display the National Breast Cancer Foundation logo alongside their own and we are happy to support a good cause. Jellis Craig is keen to support initiatives within the local community, and we look forward to continuing a successful partnership.&lt;/P&gt;  &lt;P&gt;Subscription fees will be $160 before Cup Day and $180 after (Students are $90).&amp;nbsp; This year the $300 club will again be available.&amp;nbsp; This represents great value for money, so if you’re interested please see Anton or Paul.&lt;/P&gt;  &lt;P&gt;Finally I look forward to seeing you all in the coming months. Sam had an outstanding year with bat and ball which resulted in the Under 16 side making the Grand Final.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;  &lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size=2&gt;Other CHCC players that had fantastic seasons were mentioned during the presentation night were&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;  &lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size=2&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Chris Doherty&lt;/STRONG&gt;, who came 5th in the competitions batting averages.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;  &lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size=2&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Peter Melilli&lt;/STRONG&gt;, came 8th in the competitions batting averages.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;  &lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size=2&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Luchie Power&lt;/STRONG&gt;, came 5th in the competitions bowling averages.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;  &lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size=2&gt;Congratulations to all players on a fantastic year and the great news is that most of these kids will be fronting up again next season in the Under 16's.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;  &lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
