Season Updates
Senior Women:
The women are sitting comfortably in third with 5 wins for the season, a couple close games and a few rain affected. Round 9 was against the top of the ladder who had not lost. Clifton Hill put up 129 and managed to defend the total and bowled them all out for 117. A number of catches and run outs spread across the women but notably a remarkable one handed caught and bowled by Soph and a run out by Chloe that was nearly another spectacular caught and bowled. It was a real team effort to get the win. We will enjoy a small break over Xmas before playing a practice game against Kew on the 11th of January at Rammo before resuming our normal scheduled matches on the 18th.
Senior Men:
Senior Men's training will resume on Tuesday the 6th of January with the first match after the break resuming on Saturday the 10th of January.
Going into Christmas:
The 1st XI sit on top of the ladder
The 2nd XI sit just outside the top 4 in 5th position
The 3rd XI are 7th
The 4th XI are 5th
The 5th XI are 9th
Vets:
Both Vets teams have had 2 wins upon the resumption of play since the rain interruptions of November. It's looking likely to have both teams into the finals, with both teams’ final positions to be determined by the last 2 games at the end of January.
Juniors:
We are wishing our CHCC junior rep players - Charlie Kit, Alex Hardwick-Young, Arie Hill and Morgan Hodgetts - all the best for the VMCU Carnival in January!
Junior games resume after the Christmas break on Friday the 30th of January. Please speak with your individual coach or team manager regarding when your training resumes after the break!
